Chat assistant

This website offers a chat assistant that answers questions about our services, prices and process. It is an automated service, not a human; the answers are generated by a language model.

What is processed. The text of your message, the page you are writing from, and a random session identifier (no cookies, no advertising IDs). Your IP address is not stored; it is used once as a hash to limit the number of messages per hour. If you voluntarily give a name, phone number or e-mail address, it is stored separately from the conversation logs and used only to handle your enquiry.

Purpose and legal basis. The processing serves to answer your enquiry and to prepare a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); otherwise on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering enquiries efficiently (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For the transfer to the model provider outside the EU we rely on your consent (Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by sending a message.

Recipients and third country. Messages are transmitted to the DeepSeek API (Hangzhou, China) to generate the answer. This is a transfer to a third country without an adequacy decision; please do not enter special categories of personal data (health, religion, biometric data) or bank or identity documents in the chat.

Retention. Conversation logs are deleted automatically after 30 days. Contact data from an enquiry is kept until the enquiry is closed and is then deleted according to the statutory retention periods (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO) where it is business correspondence.

Your rights. You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony.
